Happy New Year wishes!
Happy New Year's Eve, my friends! We are not doing much tonight, just going to spend New Year's Eve at my MIL's house. I will be able to get the chance to wear my holiday garb - my cat sweater that lights up on the front of it and my elf sweater poncho I bought just a month ago ...
What do you think of Santa's little elf helper? ...
The past couple of days I have been working upstairs in the attic cleaning up. I am only about halfway finished ...
I bought some large plastic storage bins in which to place my clothing in ...
And I also organized my glass and satin balls into special storage boxes ...
With my $10.00 rewards coupon from Boscov's, I bought a twin-sized comforter set for the spare bedroom downstairs. I am planning on straightening up that room as well and also using it for an office space ...
Here is wishing everyone a very Happy New Year to come!!

A Family Day, Christmas Day
Happy Wednesday, my friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and friends. We woke up early, my mom and I (and the critters - both dog and cats) exchanged gifts at my house before leaving for my MIL's house to meet the rest of the family for dinner. Here are a few pics from yesterday ...
My mom's dog Brandi opening her gift bag.
Merlin and Leo were all over their treats from nana.
My Christmas card from my fur babies.
The rest of the family ...
My MIL.
Her doggie, Tulip by her side as always.
Cousins Pat & Robin opening their gifts. A Hickory Farms cheese and meat basket, a box of petit fours, and a scented Yankee candle.
My mom and Brandi.
Our delicious after dinner cakes ... Carrot cake, chocolate fudge cake, red velvet cake, and caramel cake. 👄
Our gift basket of goodies from Pat and Robin. It had a cute little cat ornament attached to it ... 😺
Leo playing with the cat ornament ...
And, a very special hug to my sister Aurora Skye and her hubby that they both had a lovely Christmas day! I just had to share one of my fav pics of her taken on my wedding day. I call it "the Princess Diana" pic ... Love you sis!! 💖
Have a great day all!!

This and That ...
Greetings, my friends! Tomorrow is Christmas day and we were originally planning on taking the mom's out for a nice holiday meal at a great place near our house called The Hitching Post, but they were only taking reservations for holiday parties not dinner. So, we decided to order a large precooked dinner from wonderful place called Around the Family Table. They make homemade meals each and every day and also make special holiday dinners that you can just order ahead of time and pick up to re-heat as you like. We will take everything to my MIL's house and we will all eat our Christmas dinner at her home this year.
The menu meal we ordered was a large ham, mashed potatoes with gravy on the side, green bean casserole, stuffing, and hot buns. All nicely packed into a large holiday carry bag.
Tonight, I am making a pork roast in my crockpot with beef rice ..
We exchanged our gifts early this year. For Yule, my husband bought me a brand new air fryer which I mentioned that I wanted very much. So on Cyber Monday, he found a good bargain on one at Target. I have used it three times so far and I absolutely LOVE IT!
Yesterday, I made a cheap little charm bracelet from jewelry items that I bought at our local Michael's Arts and Crafts Store. It is a cat chakra-themed bracelet with cats in between ...
I wish all of my friends who celebrate it, a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!!
Brightest Blessings All!
