A musical Tuesday ...

I saw the show, "Chicago" on Broadway a few years ago starring Bebe Neuwirth and it was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!

My full costume for this Saturday's Witches Masquerade Ball.

A pic with the head band ...

And with the black hat.
I will also wear the black feather boa as an accessory. :)

A special celebration!

Yesterday, my sister Aurora Skye and I had our Samhain celebration a couple of days early. She brought three gorgeous home grown pumpkins from her garden in which to adorn our altar.

And we added our personal photos to our ancestor altar as well. Afterwards, we partook in some delicious food and drinks!

Ring bologna, cheese curls, stone wheat crackers with sharp cheddar cheese dip, veggie chips, my baked spice cupcakes, vanilla wafers, and homemade chocolate swirl cheesecake with cool whip ...

I hung up my handmade wreath depicting the Celtic myth of Caer Imbormeith and Angus MacOg - a Samhain love story!

Then, we relaxed and enjoyed a cool DVD which Aurora brought for us that we both wanted to watch - "I, Tonya." We had a very wonderful day!!

And, of course, she always likes to visit with my fur babies!
Ginger, Merlin, and Leo!

Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Wordless Wednesday (Part 1): "Clearly, none of us ever dated anyone like this." (see previous post for Part 2)

(Does anyone remember which member of the rock band, "The Eagles" had actually dated Ms. Stevie Nicks in the mid 70's? Why, I believe it was Mr. Don Henley - LOL! He also sang a duet with her called, "Leather and Lace") Love this!!

Blessed Wednesday all!

Monday montage

Happy Monday everyone! Well, it has been another busy weekend here. Spent the entire day running my mom around on Saturday for her to get some things done and then Friday night I started cleaning up the altar room and preparing the altar for our Samhain ritual celebration this up-coming weekend - due to time issues, we are planning to celebrate a week early instead of the actual evening of Samhain. Here is what it looks like so far ...
The Goddess is represented by the Celtic goddess Caileach, whom we will be honoring this Samhain.

The small tree for our ancestor altar.

I hung up two lanterns this year which I found at The Dollar Tree.

Yesterday, my friend Deb and I attended the Witch Market at Pretzel Park in Bensalem. It was pouring down rain all day so we did not stay very long - besides there were not very many vendors there I am guessing due to the rather crappy weather here.

So, since we were in the area, we decided to stop off at the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia afterwards. While there, visited a cool little Japanese Tea Shoppe called, "Tranquili Tea Temple" and I found a few really awesome things ...

A couple of small tea cups and a Maneki Neko tea bag steeper ...

A cute little black Maneki Neko statue (to keep away curses) ...

Japanese hair pins to go with my Asian dress I bought last weekend ...

Since my Chinese horoscope animal is the Year of the Dragon, I bought this cool coin ...

The Five Below store at the mall had these horoscope books for 2020 ...

The Yankee Candle Shop had their newest holiday line. This one smells just like Andes Candies - chocolate mint-scented - YUMMY!!

I picked up these little items at the Witch Market - an actual encased leaf pendant with a carnelian gemstone on it ...

And a pretty Moss agate necklace ...

We met her hubby Dave at Chili's Restaurant on the way home for dinner ...

This Friday night after I get home from work at 10:30pm, I am going to bake our spice cupcakes for Saturday. Have a blessed week all!

Fun Friday

Happy Friday all! I hope everyone had a good week. This weekend, my friend Deb and I are planning to attend the Poetry at the Witch Market event. I have never been there before, so I am looking forward to it. 👻

Last weekend, I spent some time looking around at one of our local antique markets called Renninger's. While there, I found a few cool items. One was an old table book from 1871 ...

I also picked up a nice little hat that I thought would go along rather well with my flapper costume for the Witches Masquerade Ball this year ...

And, I found an awesome dress at one of the vintage clothing antique stands ...

I recently bought this witch dress at Spirit Halloween that I want to wear for my sister Aurora Skye and my up-coming Samhain ritual celebration ...

A cheap make-shift Halloween costume I put together - the scrubs I can actually wear for my job ...

This year, I m serving up a little something new for our Samhain celebration - a tasty desert called Chocolate Flan cake. I will have both chocolate and vanilla.

Chocolate Flan Cake recipe here.

As you can see, I have two more fans of the Samhain Tree this year ...

Merlin and Butterscotch ...

And last, but not least, a couple new additions which I added to the Samhain Tree - some more cat photo ornaments in memory of my beloved fur babies ...

Have a blessed weekend everyone!!

The Samhain Tree

Ginger and Butterscotch checking it out ... later last night, Ginger decided to snuggle up to Leo underneath the tree. 😻💀👻😸
