  1. What a fantastic post! I can relate to all of it and agree with everything. Can you imagine Dr. Suess books being banned?? It's absolute insanity. I'm extremely thankful that I grew up before technology (and liberals) took over the world.

  3. As to the Seuss books. They haven't been banned. The Seuss Enterprise which holds the copyrights to Ted Geisel's work and his estate, decided they will no longer publish 6 obscure books of his. 6 books no one has ever really heard of out of the 60+ books he published. According to corporation "The 6 books depict people in ways that are hurtful and wrong." Such as Asian stereotypes. Little yellow people with pigtail braid, Coolie hats and tunics. It's certainly not the way Asian people should have been portrayed in the 20th century. Let alone the 21st.

    1. I never said that they were banned. However, politcally correct or not, they have apparently been around all this time so why the sudden urgency to pull them from print and the out-cry to be offended? Please do not get me wrong, I am not "defending" the idea. It just seems to me as though people actually have nothing better to do than to look for ANYTHING to be offended by these days regardless of what it is. Just a thought.
