Sunday This 'n' That

Yesterday was my husband's 54th Birthday, except I was forced to work mandatory overtime. So, instead of going into work at my normal second shift hours, my co-workers and I had the option to come in from 7AM to 3PM if we wanted to. In spite of the fact that I worked intil 10:30PM the night before and as hard as I tried I could NOT get to sleep and only had about three hours total, I did it - ass dragging and all!

He wanted to go to Shady Maple Smorgasbord and Gift Shop because if you go there on your birthday, you get a FREE all you can eat buffet meal - gotta love that! And, the food is GREAT! ...

We ate in one of the four large Ballroom's ...

After we got home, we had a birthday toast - a shot of Peppermint Moonshine ... 🍸

In other news, my two boxes of crocheted tree ornaments arrived this week. The gold ones are plastic but the red ones are glass. I could not wait to add them to my tree ...

Miss Ginger posing pretty underneath the tree ...

Speaking of cats, Brett took these pics on Wednesday afternoon of Chester sunning himself on a bed of fall leaves along side of the garage ...

Chester now also has a small space heater hooked up for him inside the garage along with his heating pad in his cat bed.

Sir Leo acting goofy - he loves to hide under the bed comforters ...

With all of the new ornaments on the tree - Butterscotch and Sir Leo looking on ...

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!!

  2. Belated birthday wishes to your husband. I know numerous people who have December birthdays (including myself!).

I love all the photos on this post. The restaurant is beautiful and so are all the Christmas decorations and ornaments. Everything is so festive! And, of course, the fur babies are adorable. Miss Ginger is pretty under the tree - and Chester looks so content in the leaves.
