Poor Eeyore - the next best thing ...

I have to admit, I am really missing my usual Yule Tree this year. So, upon speaking to a fellow employee and Eeyore enthusiast, I decided to put my years of collecting Eeyore Christmas ornaments to good use and put up a 4 foot Eeyore Christmas Tree downstairs in the altar room last night ...

THANK YOU, DEBBIE for indulging me! lol ...

HAVE A GREAT WEEK, EVERYONE!!

Holiday weekend activities

Greetings everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! As planned, I spent Black Friday taking down my Halloween and Fall decorations and putting up my Yule/Christmas things. As I mentioned previously, there will be no Yule tree this year due to Teddy our new kitten. However, I will share some of the pics at the end of this post.

As for today, my sister Aurora Skye and I had a great time at the Leesport Christmas Craft Show ...

Since I am only able to put up minimal decorations this year, I decided to pick up a pretty little ceramic tree to go with my small white one ...

And, a cute little ceramic Santa and Mrs. Claus musical figurine which plays, "White Christmas" ...

I also bought a few little jars of Stoudt's Winery's Wine Jelly - four different flavors: Strawberry, Concord, Apple, and Blueberry ...

And, two blocks of Garlic & Dill Cheddar Cheese ... Delicious!

Afterward, we had a nice lunch at Ganly's Pub ....

The pub was adorned with all kinds of beautiful seasonal decorations including Elf on the Shelf ...

I had my usual homemade Chicken Pot Pie!

On the way home we stopped off at our local Barnes & Noble Bookstore where I found two more sabbat books to a set that I have been collecting ...

Before my sister and I retired for the day, we enjoyed a taste of the Blueberry Wine Jelly with some crackers at my house.

Now, as I mentioned above, here are a few of my Yule/Christmas decorations ..

Some left over Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake with whipped topping ...

The cats special Thanksgiving dinner ...

And, last but not least, my hubby gave me an early present this year - an electric broom!!! (And YES, it actually works!) ... lol

Have a great rest of the weekend all!!

Thanksgiving holiday weekend!

Greetings everyone! Well, it is finally Thanksgiving week and thank God I only have to work until Wednesday. As per usual, we get Thursday and Friday off from work (Thanksgiving day and Black Friday). Our family dinner will be on Thursday and I will be taking one of Chef Jesenia's homemade Pumpkin Spice cheesecakes along for our dessert.

I am planning on staying home on Friday (I never venture out on Black Friday anyhow) and work around the house - switching up my Fall and Halloween decorations with my Yule stuff, and cleaning up the attic.

On Saturday, my sister Aurora Skye and I are planning on attending The Leesport Christmas Craft Fair. I will most likely be publishing an updated post sometime on Sunday.

Have a great Thanksgiving holiday all!

What's happening?

Hey there everyone! It has been a couple of weeks since I had posted here. The main reason for this is because I have been sick - nursing a head cold and sinus issue while trying to work - and play "taxi driver" to my mom for her MANY doctor appointments - lol! In any case, I thought that I would take a few minutes to check-in.

The next two months, as expected with all of the up-coming holidays, is going to be very BUSY for sure. As for this weekend, I am just going to lay low and rest up. This morning; however. I did have a bit of normal weekly shopping to do and since I was already out and about anyway, I stopped off at "The Mint Leaf" shoppe located right down the road from me. When I arrived there I noticed how packed the parking lot was! Apparently, they were hosting a special Christmas Open House Event with lots a good sales and such ...

They even had live acoustic music which was really cool! I decided to pick up a pretty sweater or two and I also received a free pair of earrings with my purchase ...

And the free pair of earrings ...

A Christmas/Yule set of four coasters ...

Moving on, Teddy is quite content - although he is chomping at the bit to get out of the temporary holding cage and roam the house with the rest of his siblings which he will have the chance to do after his neuter surgery ... lol

Sir Leo enjoys playing patty cake with him from on top of the cage ...

As for the remainder of the weekend, I am planning on chilling out with the kitty cats ...

Merlin is obsessed with water and sinks!!

And Ginger the lap cat loves to snuggle on my lap and sleep near me on the sofa ...

Speaking of cats, last weekend we went shopping with my mom at her Annual "Boscov Days" where I bought these awesome cat tapestry sneakers. Skechers partnered with Petco  - LOVE THEM!!

Have a great rest of the weekend all!!
