Medieval Times Birthday Celebration!

Greetings, friends! Last night, my husband and I celebrated my 59th birthday in Baltimore, MD at the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament located in the Arundel Mall. It ... was ... AWESOME!

After a three hour drive, we arrived just before the gates opened at 6PM. There were so many cool things to experience. Our tickets included (aside from the dinner and tournament) a sweet souvenir goblet and two personal photos taken as we walked into the building.

Sitting at our table waiting for the show to begin ...

A young fan enjoyed his Knighting Ceremony by The King and Queen ...

And so it begins with the King!

The Queen rides her horse!

A Falcon makes her appearance - circling above the crowd five times!

The jousting games!

The sword fights!

The dinner which was served one item on the menu at a time throughout the entire show was DELICIOUS! We had to eat with our hands as they did back then.

The menu ("Bill of Fare") consisted of Dragon's Blood (Tomato Bisque), Baby Dragon (Roasted Chicken), Barley Bread (Toasted Garlic Bread), Sweet Buttered Corn, Herb-Basted Potato, and Boston Cream Pie!

Our included photos were brought to us at our table before the end of the show ...

My birthday cards from hubby and the cats!  ...

My birthday gifts also included two small tea light lamps and a cool Hallmark Keepsake for Halloween ...

It's what's for dinner tonight ... Seasoned Chicken Breast with Garlic Butter Pasta!

Weekend Happenings

Blessed Sunday all! Well, we FINALLY were able to get our new washing machine installed on Friday. Since it is a little bigger than our old one, my husband had to run to our local Home Depot in order to pick up a clamp for the dryer hose because it kept popping out when he tried to put our caddy (on the far left) back ...

We celebrated with a Chicken Cacciatore dinner and the Cupcake white wine from my friend Ms. Sonia ... 🍷🍷

Today, I spent a very nice afternoon with my sister Aurora Skye. We had lunch at a local haunt called "The Railroad House"...

We also stopped off at "The Mint Leaf" to check out their new inventory of jewelry. I bought this cute pair of stud earrings made with dried wildflowers ...

And, a pretty Red Jade gemstone bracelet ...
