Greetings, friends! Last night, my husband and I celebrated my 59th birthday in Baltimore, MD at the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament located in the Arundel Mall. It ... was ... AWESOME!
After a three hour drive, we arrived just before the gates opened at 6PM. There were so many cool things to experience. Our tickets included (aside from the dinner and tournament) a sweet souvenir goblet and two personal photos taken as we walked into the building.
Sitting at our table waiting for the show to begin ...
And so it begins with the King!
A Falcon makes her appearance - circling above the crowd five times!
The sword fights!
The menu ("Bill of Fare") consisted of Dragon's Blood (Tomato Bisque), Baby Dragon (Roasted Chicken), Barley Bread (Toasted Garlic Bread), Sweet Buttered Corn, Herb-Basted Potato, and Boston Cream Pie!
Our included photos were brought to us at our table before the end of the show ...
My birthday cards from hubby and the cats! ...
My birthday gifts also included two small tea light lamps and a cool Hallmark Keepsake for Halloween ...

What a wonderful adventure for your birthday! A lot of atmosphere and excitement. Those costumes and the horses are beautiful. I'm wondering how on earth anyone could wear those suits of armour (did they rust if it rained??)
ReplyDeleteOf course, I really like the Halloween keepsake that was one of your gifts - it's unique.
Blessings and all good wishes for your birthday!
Thank you so much, Jon! It was a lot of fun! I suppose the armor would rust a bit in the rain outside, but fortunately, this event is always held indoors!
DeleteThe armor wardrobe on display outside the arena were all on/for sale for $6,000 and up!
Amazing.
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy Birthday Wishes.
All the best Jan
