The sensual Marianne had begun her recording career with ‘As Tears Go By’ written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in October 1965. Jackie DeShannon had written this song for her and the legendary Jimmy Page played on the session. He played on a number of Marianne’s sessions at the Decca Studio 2 in London. :)
