Fun Friday!

I have made two new oil lamps for the Fall season. This time; however, I enlisted a little help from my hubby who used to make them way back when we sold them at craft shows for our eclectic Pagan group, "O.P.E.N. (Old Paths Enlightener's Network)."

They are so easy to make. All you need is a Mason Jar with a hole in the center of the lid (sold at your local "A.C. Moore" Store), a bottle of clear lamp oil, a wick, and some silk leaves and/or flowers (or whatever you would like to use to decorate the inside of your jar). You can even add fragrance oil to them as well i.e. spice scents, etc.

Jars before decorating ...

and after ...

I also found a cute little orange glass bottle to use for our Samhain ritual in October. The bottom reminded me of a pumpkin.

Odds 'n' Ends

Happy Thursday everyone! It is beginning to look and feel a lot like FALL finally. Yesterday, a very thoughtful co-worker surprised me with this cute little witch figurine and said to me, "I know how much you love Halloween!" THANK YOU, Heidi!

Meet "Endora" ...

Well, long story short, I bought one of these automated Black Cat toys a few years ago and it no longer works. It was supposed to move and play the song, "Black Magic Woman". I recently tried to replace it and THIS one does not work either!!! So, instead of wasting more of my time and money, I decided not to send it back. Since I do not need two if these non-working toys, I am going to hold a giveaway for any one who would be interested in having it ...

If anyone IS interested, please leave a comment to this post. Thank you and have a great day all!

Our Mabon Wedding Anniversary (and an update on "Teddy") ...

For 'Throwback Thursday' I thought that I would share one of our old wedding anniversary posts since today (Mabon)  is actually our 21st wedding anniversary. However, we are going out to dinner this Saturday to celebrate it instead ...

On our first wedding anniversary, we stayed at a beautiful place called, "Motel in the Woods," a quaint little bed and breakfast located along the main strip heading into the village of New Hope shoppes. We thought it would be great to stay there again ...

Little "fireplace" in our room

Since, obviously, I will be away from home, I will be celebrating the sabbat of Mabon the night before we leave on Mabon eve. I have decorated my altar with the usual items ~ in honor of our deities, apples (symbolizing the Goddess) and acorns (to symbolize the God), candles, seasonal incense and oils, etc.

😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻

And, since Blogger and Google are apparently still having issues, I do not trust signing out of my main blog (Wiccan Life) just yet. So I have decided to post this update here regarding our newly rescued kitten whom we have named, "Teddy" ...

(To read the previous post regarding Teddy, I have shared the below link from my other blog, "For the Love of Cats" here):

UPDATE on Teddy: Just got back from Teddy's check-up with our vet. The Fe-leuk test came back negative, but because of his age she suggested that we have another test in a month to be safe. She said his overall health seems good. She sent him home with de-worm meds and Bravecto for good measure even though she did not see any fleas at this point.

The Leesport Annual Craft Fair - Harvest Event

One of the reasons I love the season of Autumn so much, is because there are so many fun things to do and cool events to go to! One of them is The Annual Leesport Craft Show at The Leesport Farmers Market which actually holds four yearly craft fair events - Christmas, Easter, May, and Harvest.

This afternoon, my sister Aurora Skye and I attended this year's Leesport Harvest Craft Fair. It was HUGE with over 400 vendors selling their wonderful seasonal arts and crafts! Of course, I could not help but take advantage of the great prices and awesome unique things! ...

A cat tapestry handbag and pouch ...

A large cat pot holder ...

And, something new that I have never seen before - a microwave oven pot holder ...

I have always loved hand-crafted ceramic dΓ©cor. My Great Aunt who lived just down the road from my family used to have a shop and taught ceramic classes in the 70's. I am hard pressed to find any beautiful ceramic items these days and was so thrilled to find these today at the craft fair ...

A scented room freshener with diffuser ...

Two handmade catnip toys for our kitties- 2 for $5.00!

A couple of new ornaments for this year's Samhain/Halloween Tree for $1.00 each ...

A black cat in a rocking chair ...

A couple of pairs of earrings - CHEAP! ...

A pretty new mermaid necklace with pava shell ...

Aurora purchased these gorgeous copper pumpkin earrings!

On the way home, we stopped off at our local Michael's Arts and Craft Store where I found this new magazine at the checkout counter ...

And, these black cat ornaments on sale for 40% off!

As well as this pillow!

Later on after I got home, I made my husband a chicken and mashed potato dinner. Heck, I love my air fryer oven and I need no excuse to use it! πŸ˜€

.Have a great rest of the weekend, friends!
