We're having a heat wave, too, and it's supposed to last all week. I don't have any air conditioning and the house is like an oven. It was so hot last night that I almost passed out. Fortunately I have a few electric fans. Stay cool! Looong ago I used to have a crush on Linda Ronstadt.

Oh I'm so glad to hear you're a Motown fan, too. I grew up on Motown. I was fortunate enough to see the fabulous Supremes and Diana Ross solo a number of times. I got to meet Mary Wilson (of The Supremes) on a number of occasions. She was a sweetheart. We would periodically write each other. Sadly, she passed away last year. What a classy, fabulous lady. Also got to be friends with Betty Kelly. She was a Vandella with Martha. We even talked on the phone a few times. A fun lady with lots of great stories. Also saw the Temptations and 4 Tops in concert a number of times. Sorry to bore you. That's what old age will do. LOL!
