Psychic Defense Shields

Since witches don't believe in the all-good old man in heaven of the christians that just praying to him and attend the church is enough to protect them, they have to see to their own magical defense.

In fact, the judeochristian god is unable to protect you from a determined witch that's why the bible orders the killing of witches (The Malleus Maleficarum or "The Hammer of the Witches"). It's not out of just fear but is out of complete panic. If their god was so powerful that could counter any magic, it would be enough that the witch is confronted, defeated and thus ridiculed for her audacity to challenge the power of the "almighty". The killing would not be necessary. Killings and lynchings show fear up to a level of panic.

So every witch will have to maintain his or her own energy shield around them, their loved ones and their children. These shields have to be spherical to reflect any incoming magical energy of negativity back to its sender. A shield is actually a thought form in the astral where all magick happens. It has to be fed with prana (life force). A short visualization session daily is enough, this is your new kind of a daily prayer as a witch and - believe me - it is far more protective than a prayer.

Praying to pagan gods/goddesses may help you, but it can't replace your energy shield. Do this before your visualisation and you may cast a protective circle before your prayer if you like...

In the following link you will find how to perform the shield visualization. There are also many other sites and books as well. Don't forget it. Don't neglect it.

Solar Eclipse - 2017

"All that is now
All that is gone
All that's to come
and everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."
~ Pink Floyd ("Eclipse")
The pic from outside our house in the rather cloudy sky without using the glasses.

and, with the glasses ... what I vividly saw looked exactly like the pic second from the left which looked like a crescent 'sun'. Absolutely amazing to see!

Are orbs real?

In photography, an orb is a typically circular artifact on an image, created as a result of flash photography illuminating a mote of dust or other particle. Orbs are especially common with modern compact and ultra-compact digital cameras.

Orbs are captured during low-light instances where the camera's flash is used. Cases include night or underwater photography, or where a bright light source is near the camera. Light appears much brighter very near the source due to the inverse-square law, which says light intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source. The orb artifact can result from retroreflection of light off solid particles, such as dust or pollen, or liquid particles, especially rain. They can also be caused by foreign material within the camera lens. The image artifacts usually appear as either white or semi-transparent circles, though may also occur with whole or partial color spectra, purple fringing or other chromatic aberration. With rain droplets, an image may capture light passing through the droplet creating a small rainbow effect.

Some paranormal investigators have referred to orbs appearing in photographs from allegedly haunted locations as 'ghost orbs', 'spirit orbs' or 'angel orbs', and claim them as evidence of spirit presences representing the essence or soul of a departed person, in some cases claiming that orbs have appeared on command and may have images and faces visible within them when zoomed in.

So here follow some stories of Kim's:

The following are merely two of my own personal true stories and experiences with orbs and the "unexplained" ...

The Bride's Best Friend

In October of 2012, I officiated a legal Wiccan handfasting for a couple who lived in Denver, PA. Toward the end of the ceremony, the bride turned to her family and friends (and unbeknownst to me) she "spoke" to her best friend who had passed away of cancer shortly before the wedding was to take place - the wedding which she was supposed to be such an important a part of. My husband had taken pics for me as, of course, I was not able to. A few days later after I had gotten my pics of the ceremony developed, I had immediately noticed an unusual orb-like image at the bottom of one of the bride's maids dresses. In fact, you can actually see her glancing down at her side at something that had so obviously caught her attention ...

The week after the wedding, the bride came to my home to pick up her official Marriage Certificate. After I showed her this particular pic, her immediate reaction was,"I knew it! I knew she was there, I could 'feel' it! I am not at all surprised."

The Ghosts who (still) live in Gettysburg, PA

A few years ago, while attending a family reunion in York, PA, we had decided to take the Gettysburg ghost tour which included the historical battlefield. The tour guide took us all through the town and recanted personal stories of which the locals and other witnesses had shared of things they say they had seen and the ghosts and their images that roamed (and continue to roam) the streets to this day. Images and unexplained phenomena regarding the soldiers and their families who had died there.

We were allowed to take photos and videos (back then, mostly via camcorders) of the entire tour. I remember there was one old abandoned home with a rather interesting history regarding it which the tour guide told us that due to previous paranormal activity as reported by the caretakers who upkeep the grounds, no one was allowed to enter this particular home. She also warned us that, even though we were welcome to take pictures and videos outside of this home, the energy in and around the house was so strong that many previous tourist have complained on numerous occasions that when they attempted to take pics or acquire any video footage, their batteries immediately died ... drained of all power! We all sort of shrugged our shoulders and pretty much did not think much more of it at that time.

Well, lo and behold while I was standing aside of my (then) brother-in-law who was using his camcorder up until that point during the tour, say, "I don't believe this!" (and began laughing) We both saw the red battery light go off and "POOF", no more video - completely shut off! Later that evening, my sister Robin told me that the battery came back and the camcorder was working fine.

In addition to the ghost tour, there was also a cool little museum which we visited before the tour began that was filled with dozens of orb and image photos captured by various folks who took pics during the walk through the battlefield and the town itself hanging on the walls - photos like the one Dark Elf had found above.

So, are orbs for real in most cases? Please feel free to share any experiences you may have had with them.

Cure for those pesty ants!

The one thing I hate about the hot, humid summer weather which we get around here is the pesty ants that just love to hone in on any little morsel of food they can find - and no matter how small, trust me they will find it! :(

I have been having trouble with ants in our enclosed porch where we feed our cat Haley. These small ants are getting all over her food in no time! So, I found a home remedy that I thought I would try ...

I took a bowl/dish and filled it with water then placed Haley's smaller food dish inside of it. I tried it last night and so far, so good.

(Can you see the little drowned ants? ... seems to be working for keeping them OUT of her food dish)

Now, I have seen something similar on google.com from a couple of different sites, but this is a much cheaper way to take care of the problem.  :)

This and That ...

Greetings, my friends! The weekend is finally upon us ... Hope all is well with everyone! Next week, I will be on vacation and it will be a very busy week.

T
To begin with, this weekend marks my mom's 78th birthday! I plan to take her out to lunch on Saturday at her favorite restaurant, "Olive Garden" for some delicious Italian cuisine!

On Sunday, I have my next chakra session which is scheduled with Erica in the afternoon. I am having dinner with my sister Robin and her hubby on Monday night, then dinner with just Kiki-girl and me on Wednesday, plus I am planning on spending some quality time with my MIL (aka my "second mom") sometime during the week, among  few other things I would like to get done that I never seem to have time for during my normal work week.

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I have started back up on my exercise regiment of walking for 45 minutes to an hour a few times a week after work. I began on Tuesday night and will continue every day that the weather will allow me to up until fall arrives. The past couple of months; however, we have had mostly rain and storms followed by hot, humid temperatures! Yuk! I am so looking forward to autumn, which has always been my favorite time of the year.

On a completely different topic, has anyone ever had what is called a laryngospasm? For many years now, I have experienced only what I can describe as "air going down my throat/windpipe the wrong way." I am not eating food nor drinking anything when this happens - it is merely catching air down my throat/larynx which I have breathed in via my mouth that triggers a reaction to my body in which I CAN NOT BREATHE neither through my nose or through my mouth! Consequently, I can not speak either until it passes about 60 seconds later. During this time, it feels as though I am suffocating/drowning and it is THE scariest feeling in the world!
Here is some info I have found on this condition: What causes laryngospasm?
Laryngospasm (luh-RING-go-spaz-um) is a brief spasm of the vocal cords that temporarily makes it difficult to speak or breathe. The onset of vocal cord spasms is usually sudden, and the breathing difficulty can be alarming. However, the problem is not life-threatening, and it's generally brief and self-correcting as the condition typically lasts less than 60 seconds.
Your vocal cords are located in an upper part of the airway called the voice box (larynx). A vocal cord spasm limits the flow of air through the larynx. The cause of laryngospasm is often not known, but certain conditions may be contributing factors or triggers:
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which acid from the stomach backs up into the food pipe (esophagus)
  • Laryngopharyngeal reflux, in which the stomach acid backs up into the throat or back of the nasal passages
  • Anxiety or stress
Fortunately, these "spasms" do not happen frequently, but I do get them once in a while. My friend's aunt had this as well and she told me she had to have minor surgery in order to correct it.

Well, that's all for now ... until next time all, Brightest Blessings ~

Another 'Throwback Thursday' poem ...

The Mermaid Lover

The moonlight strikes her long brown hair
She calls to him, "Tis my love there"?
On shore she sits upon a rock
And waits for him to sail the loch

He travels so far for her sweet touch ~
His mermaid yearns for him so much
Crooning for him her ballad of love
And guides his way like stars above

"I'd drown for you, my love, he said,
to spend eternity in your sea bed,
For death is sweet forever with thee ~
Our love transcends the land and sea"

She knows come morn as day draws near
Her star-crosseed lover must disappear
Leaving her behind hence another year
To pine for his love, so true and so dear

~ Lady Caer Morganna
