Beltane ~ 2017

Blessed Beltane weekend all! Today was a very special day because not only is it a couple of days before Beltane, but I had the pleasure of once again spending the entire day with my sister Aurora Skye and also celebrating this beautiful sabbat with her!

Dark Elf also joined us via SKYPE and took these wonderful pics for our blog ...

This and That ...

Greetings, my dear friends! Hope all is well with everyone. As usual, things have been very busy lately and it has been a few days since I have posted here. As you know, I have been looking for a couple of pet urns for my beloved fur babies ashes for both cat and rabbit. I have been wanting to purchase them for a long time now and I finally found a lovely website called, "Perfect Memorials" ...
Sabrina Marie (Maine Coon)

Sammie (Dwarf bunny)

This site also has all kinds of beautiful memorial items for people as well. I still have one more urn to buy and that is for my sweet cat, Maggie Gray.

Now, on to a happier topic. This weekend will mark the next Wiccan sabbat, Beltane. This year, my sister Aurora Skye and I are planning to celebrate just the two of us. We will spend some needed sister time together all day this Saturday. I am very much looking forward to it and I will try to take a couple little pics as well.

Until next time, Brightest Blessings to ALL!

What is wrong with people?

Back during the Gulf War, Saddam Hussein had created a terror military group of cold blood killers named "The Fedayeen" (which literally means "those who sacrifice themselves"). One weird thing about them is that they had to fight and kill big dogs in their training... (sick? very!)

If you are able to torture and painfully kill an animal you are prepared and quite able to do the same thing to humans. Violence against animals is a first step for later violence against people. That's why for our own good we should and do prohibit all such acts of violence.

To my great disappointment, I've heard from my coauthor Lady Caer Morganna that a horrible attempt to torture and kill a poor harmless house cat had occurred in her city. The details are chilling. The poor cat was doused with gasoline and thrown in a trash bag. The bastards were trying to burn the cat alive but they either suddenly became afraid that they will be seen and quickly got rid of the cat or where interrupted and were unable to finish what they wanted to accomplish! ... Crazy cultists attempting animal sacrifice? Simply sadists? We'll know IF and when they ever get arrested.

This is "Miracle Maisie" as she has been named. She was rescued by a trash man who found her and made sure she got medical attention immediately! The Humane Society of Berks County is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and, shortly after hearing about this horrible atrocity, PETA added another $5,000 more to the reward amount.

Thankfully, after receiving much needed medical attention, Maisie is at present recovering with the loving care of her foster family and the Humane Society of Berks County, PA.

Pink Full Moon tonight!

The Pink Moon would perhaps be more accurately be named the "Tiny Moon," as it's the smallest full moon of the year. Oh, and it's not pink. Rather, the Pink Moon's name is a signifier of spring: The nickname comes from a plant called moss pink or wild ground phlox — one of the first spring flowers.

Do you believe in "Divine Intervention"?

One description of divine intervention is a direct and obvious intervention by a deity in the affairs of a human. As deep as this subject is, I never really gave it a whole lot of thought until two weekends ago when my sister Aurora Skye and I had our readings done at one of our local wiccan shops called Celtic Myth and Moonlight. I had a tarot reading done. I was asked to pick four cards from the deck, which was a bit different from the usual Celtic spread in which you use 10 cards for the reading. The reading was spot on and one of the things in which I was told was that I have the strength to see my way through my darkness which I am and have been going through for quite a few years now. Without getting into any details, I will just say that I was told that if I need to, I should consult someone further if that is what it takes. I must add that the tarot reader had no prior knowledge of or about me nor had I offered him any information at any time before, during or after my reading.

So, last week I had decided to have a spiritual reading done by an experienced local physic named Erica who has her business right up the street from where I work. The first thing she noticed was the locket I was wearing around my neck with Midnight's picture in it. She said, "That cat! This cat is all around you all of the time and the bond between the two of you was very strong!" Even after my spiritual reading she kept commenting about "That cat, that cat." lol

At any rate, she asked me to I sit down and she began my reading. I can not divulge much of what was said at this time, but I have to say that I was astounded by how much this woman knew about my life in detail! Things she could have never known about my family, my in-laws, my job and most of all my love life! All of which have contributed to my state of "darkness." Anyway, to make a long story short, I have been seeing her for a few chakra sessions in order to help me work through it all. I feel as though my first tarot reading two weeks ago was meant to be and actually prompted me to "get further consultation" with Erica.

And so, my question to you my dear friends is, do you believe in divine intervention and, if so, why? Was there an experience or event which made you think twice about what you truly believe? The reason I ask this is because it seems as though we choose our particular beliefs and/or faith/religion based upon our personal experiences. If you agree, please feel free to share yours with us.

Brightest Blessings ALL!
