We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience

Finally, I am back.

As you may already know, I fled my family house with a few clothes and a very old netbook that was not suitable for browsing anymore. Since then I have been living with some pagan friends of mine until I am able to come to the States.

This literally deconstructed country under a corrupt administration does its best to make hell of my life. First check was the capital controls. I couldn't use my own money. Yes, you are reading correct. No, it 's not China, Vietnam or N. Korea. It 's an EU member, supposedly "part of the West". Yes, those misunderstood GOPs are right stating that EU is no longer West. I will add that it is actually Nazi Germany reloaded... Second check is the paperwork. No, they don't use mail, fax or internet, these are Satan's things... Yes, you guessed right, I have to go myself to 2 cities - Athens and Patras - and gather all these documents... Neither Athens nor Hague seal documents that YOU got from fax or web... I am really lucky to go so far... I hope that my luck lasts until I leave. I do worry that I will need even a lawyer...

You know already from Lady Caer Morganna about the happy moments I have with my pagan friends here. Despite these obstacles, the time finally came, and I have my brand new DELL PC along with an HP multifunction, set up, tested and fully operational. We've also got a VDSL connection. It will be my base of operations until I leave. Now starts the run for the paperwork. I will be relieved when I have all five documents translated in English with both seals in my hands. Then the case leaves from my hands and goes to America...

So I bid all my witch-friends send positive energy and cast a good luck spell for me. It is NOW of my whole lifetime that I need it the most...

Throwback Thursday - Midsummer/Litha Solstice from 2011

Every year around June 20-21, we celebrate Litha/The Summer Solstice. Our small solitary Wiccan group prefers to call it Midsummer, as it is also called, because of its' heavy association with "The Fae."

The word Litha is Anglo-Saxon and is derived from "aerra litha" which means "before summer." It is the sabbat which celebrates the warmth and light of the summer Sun for this is the time of the year when the God rides at His peak in the sky. It is also the longest day of the year. It is the time to celebrate the ending of the waxing year (represented by "The Oak King" aspect of the God) and the beginning of the waning year (represented by His "Holly King" aspect).  We, as Wiccans, honor the Goddess in Her Mother aspect as She is heavy with pregnancy from Her mating with the God at Beltane. Faeries are especially aboundant at this time and it is customary to leave offerings to them.

Going back to the New Stone Age (about 8,000 years ago), stone circles such as Stonehenge were used to mark the position of the rising sun at the Midsummer Solstice. The sun would rise over a heel stone and cast a long, phallic shadow into the heart of the circle, symbolically consummating the marriage of Heaven (the sky)and Earth. Other circles mark the equinoxes and cross-quarter festivals we know as Imbolg, Lughnasadh, Beltane and Samhain.

In keeping with the ancient folklore calender, Litha actually began on Beltane (May 1st) and ended on Lughnasadh (August 1st), with the Summer Solstice midway between the two, marking MID-Summer.

Litha customs usually included such communal activities as dancing, singing, storystelling, feasting, village bonfires and torch-lit precessions after dark. It was believed that Litha fires possessed great power and that by simply jumping over a Litha bonfire, you could be blessed with prosperity and protection. It was also a common tradition that betrothed couples joined in hands jump over the embers of the Litha fire three times to ensure a long and happy marriage.

This year, I will be celebrating Midsummer/Litha with my very dear group of solitary friends at the Old Path Enlighteners' Circle. We will gather for our yearly ritual ceremony and, afterwards, we will eat, drink and be merry!

Lesson learned ...

I usually do not write posts such as this; however, if someone is going to trash talk me to the whole world on their blog and accuse me of things I did not do simply because I did not allow them (or anyone) to get insulting or resort to name-calling on our blog, then I feel I have the right to defend myself.

If you remember not too long ago, this particular blogger wrote a very nice post on his blog titled, "Lady Caer is a good friend." This same person recently dropped me as a friend on my blog because I would not allow one of his nasty comments on my blog post which, ironically, I had specifically stated in my post that I did not want debates between followers because that usually (especially with this person's attitude from past experience) only incites insults and arguments. And so, lo and behold, I find this paragraph in his latest blog post to one of his occasional rants:

"...The witch "Lady Caer" protects her skinny little Greek bitch from anyone who dares to disagree with him. I can't tolerate two faced hypocrites or fair weather friends. Just as well, her brand of "pagan" nonsense was beginning to annoy the hell out of me anyway!"

Just for the record, I never defended anyone, I did not even reply to his comments! The funny thing is, a little while back I received a comment in my blog moderation page on the dashboard from a man who used to be one this person's followers. He kindly warned me about this person and the long and short of it is that this former blog follower said that one day, this person would "turn" on me. Well, I suppose I should have listened to him but instead I ignored his words.

Perhaps it is simply because I trust people too easily sometimes and want to believe the best in them, at least until they prove themselves otherwise. However, I often forget that SOME people can not be helped.

Oh well,  welcome to social network, eh? nuff said ...

Have a blessed week all!

My Chakra Pryamid & Spiritual Journey

As some of you may already know, I have been on a kind of "spiritual" journey since May of this year. I have been seeking the guidance of my Spiritual Psychic Advisor, Erica who has helped me deal with some very major changes which have been going on in my personal life. Erica is a third generation Shaman and is of both Cherokee Indian and Greek descent. Her mother and grandmother were Shamans throughout their entire life and have passed their knowledge, teachings and powerful gifts on to Erica. According to Erica, only the women in her family inherit these gifts, not the men. She is not a Pagan/Wiccan, in fact, she belongs to a Christian church. But, she works with the spirits and the seven chakras as did the generations before her. Even though I, myself, am a Pagan I most certainly respect that. And yes, Erica also reads tarot and uses the Angel card deck.

One of the things she has taught me how to use in conjunction with my chakra sessions is a specially designed chakra pyramid which she has created to specific dimensions and specifications. They are extremely helpful in whatever type of workings which you are in need of in order to balance things in your life.

I have been using the chakra pyramid for a month now and I can honestly say that YES I have seen enough changes for the better in my life to believe that these useful tools indeed work! So far, I have been very pleased with the results and I intend to continue working with them.

A Disgrace.

Though I have not yet the equipment for convenient authoring and blogging, I heard some news from a friend that made me quite angry and I will break my silence one or two weeks before I can have my new PC.

I get too much liberal nonsense from the media and I thought I've seen everything but this "takes the cake"...

As abominable as it may seem, there is some kind of campaign against the army veterans, people that got disabled - no matter how - and retired in honor from their service. They mostly try to defame them that they supposedly fake their disability. But they don't stop at that. They also try to present them as "killers for the bad state" and that "they got what they deserve" and gangs of those "antifa" extremists even bullied veterans! Yes, they reached that point of audacity? madness?

People like that do not deserve the status of citizen. They should lose their identity and passport and be given a green card. They should be demoted to residents and not be allowed to vote.

My dad was an army general and I have the honor of staying with an army veteran until my papers are ready and can come to the States. This guy got a shell in the head and he is half blind - one eye doesn't  work - and I can't believe that there are people back in the States believing that "he got what he deserves"! It's a disgrace! That's why I got so angry. It's not about politics. It's about civilization itself.

This and That ...

Hi everyone, hope you all are doing well! Here are just a couple of things that have been happening this weekend. :)

More from Dark Elf in Nea Makri, Attiki, Greece ...

Pendeli's Fountain Eva

Moving on, so far Leo is doing very well. He is temporarily on three different kinds of medications per our vet  -  one is an antibiotic (Zeniquin), one is to help calm his stomach (Cerenia) and one is to help keep him calm and relaxed (Amitriptyline).

In the past, he has always taken his meds without any issues, in fact he is excellent when it comes to that. We must take him back to the vet in another month for a follow-up visit and to have an ultra-sound performed on his bladder as they noticed that it did not "look" quite right when they did the first one during his hospital stay. Here, he is relaxing and thinking to himself, "There's no place like home!" ...

And finally, it is that time of the year here again in Reading, PA. It is the WWII Weekend event at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum near the Reading Regional Airport. The cats and I have been watching the aircraft's fly over the house all weekend long ...

This year one of the added features was The World Famous GEICO Skytypers ...

Until next time, enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friends! Brightest Blessings!!

Has the whole world lost its' head?

Greetings, my dear friends! This post was not exactly one I had planned to write, but as I was working on my current 'This and That' post I had decided to write a quick one about the absolute obsession which people have with politics these days.

I refuse to contaminate my blog with political debates and endless, pointless discussions about who is following the correct or "right" party. I do not know about all of you, but quite frankly I am sick and tired of the trash talk and hatred all over the social media be it via blogs or Facebook, or any other place I go! I, like everyone else, have my own personal views and opinions about what is going on in the world and I wish to keep it that way ... to myself thank you very much.  :)

So, this quick little post is my rather "tongue in cheek" response to all of this non-sense ...
