Our day trip to New Hope, PA

Saying hello to Deb and Dave's kitty, Jack before we left yesterday morning ...

On our way ...

We stopped off for breakfast at a Perkin's Restaurant ...

 Dave 'n' Deb.

It is about a two hour drive from Reading, PA. When we got there, we had lunch (and later on dinner) at a pub called "Fran's."

We did some shopping around the village ...
One of my favorite and long-time Wiccan shops, Mystickal Tymes.

A few meditation stones for my altar room.

An amazing hot sauce shoppe ...
A sign outside of a tie dye shop.
The Bucks County Playhouse located along a beautiful little waterfall on the Delaware River.

Dozens of delicious places to eat and dine-out.

Every time we visit New Hope, we find a few changes since the last time we were there. What was once a cool little strip mall called "The Four Seasons" has now been bought out and turned into a food deli currently called "Ferry Market." I bought these yummy homemade whoopee pies ... red velvet  and mint chip flavored.
Some great snacks!
I found this at a wine store called, "Crossing Vineyards."

A sweet wooden mermaid decoration.

Found these in a toy shoppe to add to my collection of Pusheen Cat holiday plushes.

And of course, I could not pass up the opportunity to pick up this cute little vintage Halloween cat dress at "Thirteen Vintage."
The day was a bit chilly with temps not going up over the high 50's, but we didn't mind much. It was still a pretty good day! On the way home, we saw this peacock wondering around in someone's yard while waiting at a traffic light ...

Today, off to another annual fall event called The Haycreek Apple Festival! Have a great day all!

  1. I so enjoyed this trip. I love Perkins. Loved your cat costumes. All the snacks look delicious. The Pusheen plushies made me squee and you look adorable in your new dress. The peacock makes an interesting pet. Not sure the neighbors would like as the peacocks make an awful screech. Enjoy the apple festival.

  2. I've always wanted to eat at Perkins, but we don't have any here in the city. Not in Brooklyn at least. You've got some great places to finds your goodies. Not so here either. That's why I do so much online. And you always find the best of stuff. Love that little dress. You look awesome in it.
