Greetings all. Well, it has been a weekend of many challenges for me. First off, I can not get into my Yahoo email because I do not remember what the password was. I opened up the account back in the late 90's and only changed the password when they prompted me to, which was NOT very often. So, I had written it down the last time it was changed and when I tried to use it yesterday because for some reason they made me enter a password, the one I had written down did NOT work! JUST GREAT ... NOT. I had not signed out of it in a couple of years so and it should not ask me for a password!! And, the only recovery email I had was an old email address from when I worked at Traveler's Insurance Company which is no good anymore. And because, (in my opinion) technology sucks so badly and creates nothing but anxiety and even more stress in my life, I had to finally bite the bullet and buy a cheap cellphone in hopes that I could get a recovery code to reset my password with my new and only cellphone ---- NOPE! Yahoo support was NO HELP what-so-ever. They made me scan my driver's license for verification, but then said that was not acceptable. WHAT??? It is a valid and active ID!! Gimme a break. I can now understand why people HATE Yahoo!! AND, if they did help me, I would have to pay a premium! They told us that we could try another time or open up a new Yahoo email account. Yeah, right. My husband then said to them, "If we are having such a hard time changing a password, then WHY would we want to open a new account with you?" It is complete and utter bull***t! It is a complete MESS.
Now, I have to change ALL of my accounts including my work info to my gmail account and pray that THAT account never gives me the problem Yahoo did. I was so frustrated yesterday, all I could do is cry. I can't stand modern technology seriously for a number of reasons - mainly because it so farrr too much of a pain in the ASS. I HATE IT ... period, and always will. 😠😠ðŸ˜
Moving on, my Saturday was much better than my crappy Sunday. I spent the day with my friend Deb who wanted very badly to go shopping at "Hobby Lobby" where I got some holiday shopping done. Most of the holiday items were 50% off ...
