Mommy's Little Angel

Well, so far things are going a bit on the rocky side with regards to our new addition, Pepsi. He misses his mommy, he longs for his old life back and he definately isn't crazy about my other cats. But we are hopeful that in time he will come around sooner than later. At any rate; however, he has at least one feline who would just love to befriend him - my little angel cat, Midnight.

Midnight is our only male kitty with the other two cats being females. We are not really sure how old he is since we rescued him from outside. No doubt, he is by far the sweetest of all the cats that we have ever had. I swear to you that he doesn't have a mean bone in his furry little body!  While the other cats walk past Pepsi and hiss begrudgingly, Midnight causually walks right up to him as if to say, "Hey there, my name is Midnight - what's yours, buddy?"

Last year we almost lost him due to a contamination in our area's water which we did not know about early enough. Thankfully, the vet was able to save him and, needless to say, our cats now get nothing BUT spring water every day since.

He sleeps on my pillow and cuddles up to me by lying on my head while purring me to sleep every night. We love him more than words can say and we would literally be lost without him!!!

  1. Give it time - hopefully they will all at least tolerate each other. I'm quite a fan of ebony cats & midnight looks very handsome!

  2. I love the way you describe Midnight, he sounds sweet and lovable. Poor Pepsi is bound to have a rough time for a while; hopefully he will start feeling more comfortable soon. I know you are all giving him bunches of loving.

  3. What a sweetie pie!! Hoping that he and Pepsi buddy up good and win the hearts of the girls! Perhaps that all Pepsi needs... a wingman! :)
