We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience

A little of this and a little of that

Well, today is my dad's reiki session. In addition to this, he has been attending three physical therapy sessions a week as well in an attempt to help him sleep due to his severe neck pain. Since he is getting worse (even with the pain pills his doctor has given him), it appears that his physical therapy is not helping him much at all and he says that the only relief which he gets is when I administer his reiki treatments to him, I will be giving him reiki a little more often ~ perhaps twice a week instead of once every 1 or 2.  Unfortunately, short of this, there really isn't too much more that I can do in order to help him except of course to be there for him.

On the lighter side of things, hubby and I are all ready for Yule and Christmas. I asked him for an Album/Cassette Converter Box this year so that I can finally put my live tapes from when I sang with the band, "Second Effort" (as well as my old live karaoke tapes) onto a CD in an effort to post some of the songs on my blog, etc. The tapes are pretty old and the sound quality isn't the best, so I am hoping that I will be able to perhaps make them a bit more audible, too ...

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
