Monday montage

Greetings, my friends. It is Monday once again ... busy but too short of a weekend as per usual. Hope all is well with everyone. Spent Saturday morning at the dentist getting a broken tooth repaired then the rest of the day at a local fall festival with my friend Deb and her grandson, J.J.  Yesterday was family running around time. We took my mom to the grocery store, went to two different Goodwill Stores to shop, and then visited my MIL on the way home.

While shopping around over the weekend, I found a few goodies for my Fall decorations in the house ...

A pretty seasonal table cloth.

An adorable ceramic witch with a cute little orange cat, two mermaid skeletons, a large black ceramic cat I use for my large Yankee Candles, and I left my Freya statue up as well as she represents the sabbat of Samhain (she is a goddess of war who guides the soldiers who have fallen safely to the afterlife).

I put out my Halloween/Samhain bathroom towels ...

And, I picked up a few items to bake some cupcakes for my sister Aurora Skye and I to enjoy for our annual Samhain celebration coming up in a couple of weeks ...

What's new with all of you? Have a blessed day!

Fun Friday!

Well, it is finally Friday and what a week it was. Among the things I had going on, last Friday I had taken a scheduled day off from work. Originally, my friend Deb and I were going to attend the first day of the "Celtic Classic" as she had never been there before, but since it only started at 4:00pm and she had to work early Saturday morning, we decided to have a girl's movie day instead. We spent much of the afternoon at her house watching the DVD, "Unfaithful" starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane ... 💓

Her cat, Jack, decided to join us!

We also purchased tickets for this year's Witches Masquerade Ball ...

It will be held on Saturday, November 2nd once again at The Crowne Plaza. My friend Deb and I are going as Flappers - this is my costume plus I just bought long black gloves to go along with it. The rhinestone choker actually belonged to my grandmother. :)

BTW, this is my new "used" car. Another Honda Civic. Unfortunately, I had to take a personal car loan out for it so another $3,900 and it is mine.😔

One of my co-workers is also a caterer and she takes weekly orders for homemade dinners and baked goodies - this week the desert was Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread ... DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!

Miss Ginger is growing up fast - getting bigger and she is still just as sweet. Next month I have to call the vet and make an appointment to have her spay. 😽
Butterscotch and Merlin having dinner.
"Butters" and Ginger just chillin' on the sofa.

Have a great Friday everyone!

New happenings!

Good morning and Happy Sunday, my dear friends! My deepest apologies as it has been quite a while since I have had any spare time to post here - lots of things have been happening the past few weeks. My mother fell and fractured her right elbow, I had a car accident and had to buy another used car, among other things. Anyway, my mom had surgery last week and is now home and recovering with the help of the visiting nurses, the physical therapists, her wonderful next door neighbor of many years, and my good friend Deb who we are fortunate enough to have to help get my mom back and forth to her doctor appointments when I have to work. Hopefully, she will be back to driving soon - she can't wait, of course.

There have been some Fall events going on around here in Reading, PA. The Ridgewood Winery has open houses with wine tasting, food, and bands for good entertainment - very enjoyable ...

A pic taken at one of the winery's events which was taken by one of their employees for their website with my friends Dave and Deb.

This was taken while having dinner at The Station at Reinholds Inn with Chef Craig from Brooklyn, NY - talk about a New York accent! It is no wonder his nickname is "Brooklyn" ...  LOL!!
These pics were taken last weekend while out with Deb her grandson J.J. at the annual fall Pumpkin Fest at The Oley Dairy ...

Feeding the critters ...
A fun kid's Hay Ride ...

Also, we attended the Annual Fall Festival in West Reading, PA. This photo was taken in the lovely garden behind "Curious on the Avenue" ...

Last week was my 18th Wedding anniversary and as we do every single year, we attended the Annual "Celtic Classic" held in Bethlehem, PA ...
The Bagpipe competition which features bands from all over the country ... New York, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, etc.
Enjoying the events - and they have much to offer every year! ...

Anyhow, I promise to be back later tonight to visit all of your blogs to see what everyone has been up to! Have a great day!
