First off, a quick little update on our Kiki-girl's recovery from her lump removal surgery. The vet called us just today to let us know that her biopsy came back good. Turns out that she had a benign cyst and, as you can see in the above pic, she is recuperating and pretty much relaxing.
Tonight, we finally got "Dimples"(our hail-damaged Honda Civic) back on the road after much BS from the State of Pennsylvania! Between all of the ridiculous paperwork needed in order to make sure that the car had a salvage title certificate only so that we could get it "reconstructed" and re-inspected by a "State-approved licensed Enhancement mechanic" ... blah, blah, blah. After all of that, and $700.00 plus later, we were able to welcome home our baby! Now all she needs is a really good bath! LOL! ...
And last but certainly not least, our toilet broke down last Saturday night and hubby has been doing all he can since to fix it. Hopefully tonight he can finish the job so that we will not have to pay for a plumber ... Ah yes, this past week has so reminded me of the old saying, as put only too well by Gilda Radner's classic SNL character, "Roseanne Roseannadanna," ...
"Well, Jane. It just goes to
show ya! It's always somethin'!"
Great news about Kiki and Dimples... hope the same can be said about the bathroom situation!
ReplyDeleteWishing you much better days ahead my dear Kim!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the humor of Gilda Radner...what a beautiful person she was~
