Moving on, the cats are definitely feeling the chill. Leo and Ginger are snuggling up near the Halloween tree a lot more ... LOL!
Over the weekend, I went back to The Coventry Mall with my friend Deb. I wanted to show her another tea and gift shop I found the weekend before called, "Gifts Made EZ." This place is AWESOME! It has it all - a wonderful variety of tea blends for your health, beautiful clothing, lovely statues, gemstones, etc. One of the items I bought was a fusion heat instant reusable heat pack for my neck and shoulders. I use this almost every night and it works GREAT!
It is easy to use - just press the little metal disk inside and it heats up the pack to 122 degrees within seconds. It lasts about 2 hours and after it cools down, you boil it in water and it is ready to reuse again.
Another cool place we found was a neat store called, "The Morgue." They sell all sorts of unique stuff from t-shirts to collectors items.
I got a couple of little things while I was there - this pack of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" UNO cards ...
A neat little "Hellraiser" Lament Configuration puzzle box.
Here are a few more things I saw at "Gifts Made EZ" ...
A wall full of assorted teas.
All kinds of Asian/Japanese gifts. The owner is closing up her shop at the end of this year so everything was on sale.
I could not resist buying a few more things there. Among them were some GORGEOUS Japanese dresses!
The dresses are made small so if you normally wear a medium, you need a large to fit into them. These are all large sized dresses ...
I also bought two more maneki neko statues for the cats room ...
The owner of the shop is such a sweet and lovely lady. She made us a cup of hot tea to go and told us to pick out a gemstone to take along home with us! All in all, a very nice weekend!
They say we are in for a cold and wet winter. Doesn't sound good. That neck packs looks good. Haven't seen that around here. I have the shoulder pad that is filled with sad and you heat it one minute in the microwave. Again you found some awesome goodies. I live one block from Brooklyn's Chinatown so there are lots of Asian goodies available here. I love those little cats.
ReplyDeleteThose shops would be so fun to poke around in. I just love the blue maneki neko.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly found some good things here, those Japanese dresses do look gorgeous.
