We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience

Fun Friday!

Happy Friday! Ever had a song stuck in your head which you have not heard nor thought about in many  years? Well, for some unknown reason, this beautiful song has been playing in my head for the past couple of days now. It is a song that brings back memories of when I was a little kid. It is an old Spanish ballad our local radio station used to play and I would hear it almost every single morning while waiting for the school bus to arrive in front of my house. Because I did not and still do not speak Spanish at all, I never understood what the song was about nor did I care because the melody was just so pretty! I found the translation the other day while searching on the net and so I included them here as well. Not sure how accurate they are, but I believe they are fairly close enough to get the idea of what this group is singing about. Enjoy!

Eres Tu

So like a promise, it is you, it is you
So like a morning in the summer
The warmth of a smile, it is you, it is you
For me, for me, it is you

My hope and my yearning, it is you, it is you
So like a cool rain in my warm hands
So like a soft wind, it is you, it is you
For me, for me, it is you

It is you, like the water of my fountain
It is you, the warmth here within my home
It is you (So are you to me)
Like the fire of my hearthstone (So are you, like the flame of my hearth)
It is you (So to me are you)
The wheat I knead/need for my bread (My life, so to me are you)

The rhyme in my poem, it is you, it is you
Like a guitar sounds in the nighttime
The light on my horizon, it is you, it is you
For me, for me, it is you

It is you, like the water of my fountain
It is you, the warmth here within my home
It is you (So are you to me)
Like the fire of my hearthstone (Like the flame of my hearth, so are you)
It is you (So to me are you)
The wheat I knead/need for my bread
