This one was the smallest of the three cakes. I used the excess cake batter as to not waste any of it.
And, because I am not exactly the greatest cake decorator in the world, I also picked up a pack of candy roses to use on the cake for May's ritual celebration. I will post a pic of them on the cake after I make it - the candy roses are beautiful and they are perfect for Beltane!
I also had pretty much extra frosting left over but not enough of one flavor and color to use on another cake, so I baked some quick white cupcakes last night which I am planning to give a few to my mom and my MIL just to help get rid of them before they get dried out and stale. 💕
